Next week, Murawin is launching our newest initiative, The Morning Sky Project, which will focus on economically and educationally empowering Indigenous Australians. The launch event is being sponsored by Westpac and will be held at Barangaroo in Sydney.
This project has been inspired by the book Half the Sky, which tells of inspirational stories of women in developing countries who have the drive to establish business opportunities that changed the economic life of their families and their communities in many instances.
The Morning Sky Project has three aspects in its first stages:
The Morning Sky book full of inspirational stories,
Tiddas in Business – an online platform (and Facebook Group) where Indigenous and non-Indigenous business women can exchange advice, support and insights, and
An educational sponsorship program.
