The past few months as we have been travelling here, there and everywhere across this beautiful country delivering the Tiddas in Business workshops and events, we feel so privileged to have met some just amazing women and share with them a bit about Murawin’s business journey, but also learn about their own journey’s. To say that we are absolutely inspired by the stories of the women who have attended our workshops is an understatement.
Our Business Workshops have focused on assisting women to develop a Business Model for their business using a process called a Business Model Canvas, which is a strategic management and startup template for developing new or documenting existing business models. It is a visual process, easy to follow and use, and can be as in depth as you want it to be.
We are so looking forward to the next 12 months and ramping up our Tiddas in Business work that aligns with the UN Sustainability Goals of achieving gender equality and women’s empowerment. We are passionate about this area and we know and have witnessed the incredible power and influence for change that a woman in business can have on not only her own life, but the lives of her family and community. Which is why we are committed to growing this space for Indigenous women in particular.
We are currently in the process of mapping out a bit of a roadmap for what Tiddas in Business will look like for 2019/2020 and are super excited about the possibilities. To all the women who have joined us in the Tiddas in Business movement, thankyou! We love hearing your stories, connecting with you and helping you where we can!
